coir pith blocks

Coirpith blocks is organic growing media extracted from coconut husk, widely used in farming, horticulture, gardening. The aerated structure of coirpith enables usage in farming, hydroponics, agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, green houses, erosion control, golf courses. Coir pith is used as a growing medium/potting soil for commercial farming. Low EC pith blocks is better compacted, stronger, sprinkled with water, & hence less chances of breakage with loading/unloading than high EC pith blocks. Pith is stored in a bunker before seperating for low EC and high EC.

coir fiber & growbags

Coconut husks are processed to make coconut fiber. coconut fiber bales of 120 kg are stored in a seperate storage yard. Coir pith is used as a growing medium/potting soil for commercial farming. Coir growbag is made with coir chips, coir pith and coir fiber. Growbags can have 3 holes, 5 holes or no holes. Growbags with UV treated packing can last for 2 to 3 years. 3 yr UV treated packing is more safe. Coir has wide application to make coir ropes, coir mats. Coir mats are made with combination of coir surface vulcanized into a rubber base. Coir rope is made from coconut husk. Sand upto 3% and fiber upto 5% is allowed.

Hydraulically compressed blocks. When palletised, blocks are assembled in a pallet & stretch wrapped. When non-palletised, blocks are assembled loose within a container
